Why did I embark on a forty day fast? I had issues with several areas of my life. Some of these issues were recurring ones and others were stuff that sprang up in the past few years and needed to be settled. My principal issues had to with finances. We were dealing with huge debt with my husband because of challenges in his money management business.
We had made a few wrong choices and trusted the wrong people and as a result were thrown into a monumental debt from which only God could pull us out. We knew what line to follow in our business to get out but we no longer had the capital to enable us toe that line.
My own business wasn’t doing so great either; I was selling an average of one ticket a month as against a minimum of five a day. Our kids were all healthy but you cannot raise five children on water and prayers alone. We needed money, lots of it and fast too. Our investors were calling us like crazy and my husband was almost out of his mind with worry
